About Solid Rock Recreation
A Multi-Denominational Partnership
Solid Rock Recreation is a stand-alone Community-Based Christian Ministry designed to promote the mission of bringing our youth and kids (churched and not churched) together to recreate in a safe sanctuary environment including extensive adult leadership at each site with required background checks. The goal is also to build bridges with many local churches of various denominations in the Kings Mountain, North Carolina community to better partner together in this unique ministry by offering their indoor recreation facilities as host sites allowing the youth and kids in our community to choose what site and what day suits them to come and participate.
Our Core Mission is to Learn, Play, and Pray. We also strive to teach the fundamentals of various sports in a non-competing environment allowing youth to develop their own personal interests. We hope that everyone touched by our ministry has fun, develops friendships, learns skills but more importantly, experiences the love of Jesus Christ.
We also encourage the participating youth and their families to find their place at one of our many church partners. It takes a village to get through life these days! We all need encouragement from others and a good home church should help provide that.

At Solid Rock Recreation, we believe in taking our faith beyond the walls of the church and reaching into our local community. Our youth and kids are our future and they need a positive space to grow in community. We aim to fill this void!

Whether you are a male or female tween or teen (Ages 13 and Up) who is not readily interested in participating in organized team sports but is eager to learn and improve in a particular sport, we invite you and your friends to join us in recreation and fellowship.
